There are many potential leaders who fail to unlock their latent abilities and in the process become average or mediocre managers. This is an indicator that there is a shortcoming in the way leaders are trained (if they are trained at all) It is also an indicator that an easy to use model is not readily available to those taking on leadership roles.

A blueprint is needed that can help those who have stepped up to the plate. A leadership guide to help transition from technical skills to the skills required to navigate the complex world of leading others.

The leadership program has two evolution streams that will set you on your path:

 

1. THE LEADERSHIP BLUEPRINT

Within 6 hours you will learn the fundamentals of the Leadership Blueprint that will immediately change your leadership dynamic, and change the way you lead your own life. From the outset, Module 1 will put you in a position to make a difference and;

  • Understand the dynamics in play within any group scenario
  • Use the Blueprint to equip and empower those around you to take ownership for better results
  • Diagnose current problems within a team dynamic, and
  • Identify the ONE THING that you can shift to create a change
  • Lead with more confidence and effectiveness
  • Use the Blueprint to set up every scenario for a better chance of succeeding

2. EXPANDING ON THE BLUEPRINT MODEL

The second stream, modules 2 to 5 will expand on what you learnt in module 1, and enhance your capabilities to use the broader spectrum of leadership traits. It will take you to the next level where you will better understand the elements involved in the blueprint fundamentals and move you closer to mastery and effectively applying the blueprint to work for you and your team.

Module 1

PLACING A LEADERSHIP BLUEPRINT IN YOUR HANDS

In this foundational module you will be exposed to a model that challenges the conventional, but at the same time equips you in a way that produces rapid results for you. The Leadership Blueprint is the beginning of equipping you to be an effective and confident leader in any situation

At The End Of This Module, You Will:

Module 2

PERSONAL ACUITY:

“Acuity; sharpness or keenness of thought, vision, or hearing”

Leader; know yourself, your strengths, limitations and ability to adapt to the situations you lead.

Module 2 expands on The Blueprint by exposing your strengths and dominant personality and leadership traits. Here you will get to understand how you play to those strengths and the need for a good leader to be able to adapt to suit the scenario.

  • Good leadership traits. What makes a good leader.
  • Playing to your strengths
  • Adapting your style to best lead the situation
  • Different leadership styles and why you need to know about them
  • The 6 leadership styles discussed
  • Identifying your dominant leadership traits. Taking the evaluation.
  • What competencies do you need in order to effectively lead
  • Emotional Intelligence and the importance to you as a leader
  • The competencies needed by a leader

At The End Of This Module, You Will:

  • Know what your dominant leadership traits are and how to leverage on them
  • Be in a position to understand that you need to adapt your style to different scenarios, what these different styles are, and how to go about using them
  • Determine where you are regarding the core competencies you need as a leader
  • Understand emotional intelligence and how to use it to your advantage and the benefit of your team
  • Become a better leader of yourself in your own life, and
  • Become a better leader of yourself, to be a better leader of others.

Module 3

Group Dynamics:

What is it that can make, or break the alignment, focus and flow of a group, a team or a whole organization?

In the Group Dynamics module you will see how expectations are at the center of achieving alignment, and understand what motivates, drives, discourages or disengages those around you. Here you will learn how to use the EXP Blueprint model to manage group dynamics, and better understand the playing field.

  • The different dimensions and dynamics in play in group environments, and why you need to know about them. People astuteness
  • How expectations are in play and influence, shape and impact the dynamics of a group
  • What happens when a new group is formed, or a change comes into play. How to manage this disruptive dynamic
  • How to use the EXP Blueprint to monitor group health and adjust if the balance goes off
  • The “tribe” – the power of belonging. The strength in team brand
  • The need for “Street smarts” and political astuteness
  • Managing relationships

At The End Of This Module, You Will:

  • Have a better understanding of what dynamics are in play, and how they come to be influential drivers of both the individual and team dynamic
  • Be able to diagnose the Psyche health of your team, diagnose the drivers behind imbalance or non-alignment, and begin the re-alignment process from the right basis
  • Know what establishes or breaks team alignment and how to ensure the key dimensions drive alignment
  • Reduce conflict and better manage it when it arises (because you will be equipped to understand what causes these states)

Module 4

Leadership DNA (Passing it forward):

One of a leader’s greatest accomplishments and highest responsibility is to equip those around them to become leaders.

The final step, Module 5 is about how you as a leader achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness through building up leaders around you. It is also about how you confidently go about passing the leadership Blueprint onto others and create a high-performance team and culture.
